I planned my first Webquest

We learned about an interesting tool in class that I had never heard of before a Webquest! I got to plan my first Webquest in my ed technology class. The topic of my Webquest was the solar system. I gave the students different types of web activities to help then learnt the information. Here is a list of the websites i used for this Webquest.

This is an archive of photos from Hubble which i asked students to print pictures of their groups planet/sun. These pictures went on a poster that accompanied their presentation to the class about their sun/planet.

This site has many interactive games that allow children to learn about the solar system. There is also a movie which shows how the solar system was made.

Webquests can be an effective way of teaching children about the use of computers and the internet. It's also fun!
