Scavenger Hunt Mini Lesson plan
We did a assignment in class that required us to put together a mini lesson plan using the software Inspiration.I compiled a group of pictures that students were to sort into categories of ecosystems. For this Scavenger Hunt assignment I used an archive of pictures from National Geographic Photography online. The images can be found at http://photography.nationalgeographic.com/photography . National Geographic’s photography websites offers a wide variety of images that can be incorporated into many lesson plans. In fact national geographic offers teachers’ pre packaged lesson plans which can be searched by age group or topic. The image archive itself is aww inspiring. Some of the best photographers from around the world travel around the world to capture these amazing images. The images range from animals, countries, cultures, landscapes, destinations, and even space. The website also offers games, videos, history, music, and news. This website is a great addition to any classroom.
The pictures above represent some of the pictures I used to create an assignment for my students to learn about ecosystems.
